WiMedia Alliance - Software Engineer

Experienced (5+ years) software engineer to develop industry tools for testing features of new wireless protocol defined for the WiMedia Radio Platform. Requires:

• good knowledge of C and of C++
• strong communication skills
• ability to work independently
• experience developing software to control hardware (firmware, drivers, etc)

BS CS strongly preferred; MS CS desired.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Networking: TCP/IP and network apps; Ethernet, WiFi, etc.
• Universal Plug and Play
• WiMedia (UWB) MAC protocol. (web search for the Ecma-368 standard)
• Bus analyzers.
• Wireless protocols and tools.

The lab is in Hillsboro, OR.
