SimCity Tips & Tricks

For the greatest success, approach the Computer City Design as a design project and not just as a game. Use the SimCity as a tool to discuss what makes a city successful and develop layout plans for infrastructure. Try to "plan" a city layout and then implement it, as opposed to just doing random construction as the program runs. As with all design projects, you may find that you need to use an iterative process of trying a layout, seeing how that works, and then trying a slightly modified layout to see if that works better. The first city you start with will most likely not be the final one you submit for the competition.
