"Forensic Electrical Engineering: Engineering , Medical , and Legal Aspects"

An outstanding tutorial that will be available to you in Seattle. The title of the tutorial is Forensic Electrical Engineering: Engineering, Medical and Legal Aspects. It will be presented by Robert E. Nabours, consultant and Paul F. Hill, attorney. These gentlemen are two of the three authors of a text of the same title, so you know that the presenters are highly qualified. The date is Sunday, October 3, the place is The Westin Hotel, and the price is $110. We believe that this tutorial (with CEU credit if you need it) is too good to pass up.

The Seattle Chapter of IEEE Industry Applications Society is one of our strongest chapters in Seattle Section, and also one of the most active in IAS. (Incidentally, our Section provided some seed money for this conference and will share in the conference surplus.) Erling Hesla chairs the local committee for the IEEE/IAS Annual Meeting and Conference, sponsor for this tutorial. However, not everyone in Seattle is interested in attending the entire conference, so Erling made arrangements for any Seattle IEEE member or any interested local person to attend tutorials at the conference price without having to register for the conference.

If you are interested in learning more about the conference itself, go to www.ieee.org/ias2004, but skip that registration form and use the one with this letter.

(The website form includes a registration fee for the conference, and you don’t need to pay that.)

If you would like more information or if you run into problems, contact Erling at e.hesla@ieee.org.

Tutorial registration required, see registration form.

Note:Conference Registration is not required, but it is necessary to register for the tutorial session(i.e., $110 for early registration).
